Patricia Ann Keller (Sauder), age 77, of Brooklyn Park, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025.
Patricia was born in the village of Heron Lake, Minnesota, to Raymond Lyle Sauder and Vera Albertina Mittlestadt. Throughout her life, Patricia was known for her unwavering devotion to her family, serving as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who touched the lives of all who knew her. She dedicated many years of her career to the Canadian Pacific Railway before retiring.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Lyle Sauder and Vera Albertina (Mittlestadt) Sauder Bedard, and her stepfather, Marvin Bedard.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Keller; daughter Kimberly Hanson; son Timothy Morton (Jennifer); step-children Holly Clark (Aaron) and Chad Keller (Mary); and nine cherished grandchildren: Teigan, Ronan, Dylan, Haydan, Caeden, Avery, Carson, Ethan, and Liam. She is also survived by her siblings Soundra Burgoyne, Carol Jean Nicholson (Bruce), Linda Sabby (Jim), and Ronnie Sauder; brother-in-law James Keller (Dianne); and fifteen beloved nephews and nieces with whom she shared countless special moments.
Patricia was always the first one at the hospital, eager to hold each new baby in the family. She was ever-present in the lives of her grandchildren, always helping to take care of them and showing up to activities to watch and cheer them on. Her daughter fondly remembers her mother's unwavering support and the joy she brought to every milestone. Her granddaughter Teigan will always cherish the special bond she shared with her grandmother, one that deepened as she grew into adulthood when they enjoyed memorable trips to Charleston to visit Patricia's son, creating treasured memories that she will carry forever.
Her sisters cherish the memories of many road trips they took together, including visits to their uncles and, in later years, gathering for longer trips at Carol Jean's home in Arizona, where many laughs and late nights were shared. Patty especially looked forward to family reunions when she had the chance to reconnect with her cousins and other extended family members.
Known as Patty to her friends and family, she loved a good story, had favorite jokes she told often, was a meticulous planner, and never forgot to include those she loved in her thoughts and kindness. Patty never shied away from expressing her unconditional love for her children, something they will continue to feel throughout their lives. Her warmth and dedication to her family will be remembered always. She leaves behind a legacy of loving hard, laughing loud, and countless precious memories.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 6, at 11:00 AM at Washburn-McReavy Hillside Chapel, 2610 19th Avenue NE, Minneapolis. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
