Patricia Ann Lee was born in Brush, Colorado on April 11th, 1938, her parents were Roy Earl (Spike) Lee and Grace Goldthorpe. Her mother passed away when Pat was only 16 years old.

As a young girl, Pat enjoyed riding her bicycle around the farm and swimming in the irrigation ditches with her friends. She was voted queen for the FFA organization.

After graduating from Brush High School, Pat attended Blair Business College in Colorado Springs. After graduating, she worked at Colorado Interstate Gas Company. She worked at Social Services for over 15 years.

Pat and Ellis met for the first time on Memorial Day weekend in 1958, when Ellis rode with his friend Tom Lee to pick up one of his sisters to bring her home for the holiday weekend. Their love for each other grew with each passing day. They were married the following year, on June 27th, 1959, at the Parsonage of the Presbyterian Church in Brush. Their first son, Ed, was born on May 13th, 1960, and the following year, Eldon was born on July 23rd, 1961. Pat enjoyed refinishing antiques, various arts and crafts and gardening. She was also an avid reader.

The family ranch that she grew up on is ironically part of the parcel that they moved back to in 2020. Pat joked and said she had now gone full circle with her life's journey.

Pat will be remembered and cherished by friends and family.

Pat is survived by her husband, Ellis Knoll; two sons, Ed (Debbie) Knoll, and Eldon (Vicki) Knoll; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday August 23, 2025 at Rankin Presbyterian Church, 420 Clayton Street, Brush, Colorado 80723, at 10:00 AM.
