Rembs Funeral Home and Crematory - MarshfieldPatricia D. Kolb, 99, of Hewitt died on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Serenity Assisted Living in Marshfield under the care of Heartland Hospice.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Friday, April 10, 2026 at the Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield with Deacon Ray Draeger officiating. The Family welcomes relatives and friends for visitation from 9am until time of service at the funeral home. She will be interred at a later date next to her husband in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Hewitt.
Patricia was born in Colby, Wisconsin on June 19, 1926 to Albert and Angeline (Hollman) Hein. She received her education in the Town of Eau Pleine and Stratford Schools. As a young girl she assisted her parents on the family farm. Patricia was united in marriage to Michael G. “Mitch” Kolb on September 16, 1947 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stratford. They took over the Kolb farm and farmed there for 40 years before retiring and moving to Hewitt, WI in 1987. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and its Parish Council of Catholic Women. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, and traveling. Her passion for scrapbooking is fondly remembered.
Patricia is survived by her children: Eugene (Louise) Kolb of Marshfield, Edward (Kathy) Kolb of Marshfield, Marjorie (Andrew) Kloos of Stratford, William Kolb of Marshfield, Donna (Donald) Wright of Medford, and Donald (Pam) Kolb of Marshfield. She is further survived by 13 grandchildren: Steven (Amy) Kloos, Scott (Kari) Kloos, William (Angela) Colby, James Kolb, Kristy (Luke) Drexler, Katie Kolb, Susan (Mark) Franseen, Angela Kolb, Jill (Tim) Multerer, Craig Kolb, Adam Kolb, Austin Kolb and Sara (Dan) Griesbach; and 19 great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents, husband Mitch, and her brothers Robert and William Hein.
