Patricia Anne (Carolin) Krueger, 90, of Tucson, Arizona, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on August 14, 2025. Born June 24, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, she grew up in a large, lively Irish family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phil and Shirley Carolin, and her siblings Colleen, Phil, Terrence, and Clancy, and is survived by Thomas (Glenda), Jane, Cathy, Mark (Jane), and Maureen.

Patricia grew up in the Chicago area and later moved to Wauconda, Illinois, where she met and fell in love with her future husband, William John Krueger. They were married for 74 years and raised six children: Bill (Kris), Claudia (Mike), Darcy, Kelly (Jim), Dan (Joan), and Ryan (Christina). Their family grew to include 14 grandchildren-Kimberly (Ben), Bill (Laureen), Cara, Bache, Jon (Lindsay), Lindsay, Cassie (Zach), Danny (Catherine), Alex, Austin, Rachel, Drew, Samantha, and Natalie-and nine great-grandchildren: Jack, Sophie, Gio, Cece, Kris, James, Cole, Kennedy, and Stetson.

Patricia was a devoted wife, with William as the sun in her orbit for more than seven decades. She was deeply private and shy, and valued her independence, but she always had a steady presence in her family's life. She loved seeing her children and grandchildren grow and took pride in every milestone. Alongside William, she shared in his decades of work in the Catholic Church, quietly supporting him and the many people he helped.

A celebration of Patricia's life will be held at a later date. Details will follow.

Patricia's life, with its quiet moments, strong will, and proud Irish roots, will be remembered by those who knew her best. She and William are now reunited after a lifetime together
