Patricia "Pat" Lefavor Link
1954 ~ 2025
Patricia "Pat" Lefavor Link passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 6, 1954, and raised in the Salt Lake City/Holladay, Utah area, Pat lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and meaningful connections. Her kindness, generosity, and joyful spirit touched everyone she met, leaving a lasting impression that will continue to resonate with all who knew her.
Pat was many things - a devoted daughter to Don and Bev Lefavor; a loving wife to Don Link; a proud mother to Trisha Putnam, Lindsay Evans, and Allie (Lexi) Evans; a caring stepmother to Annie (Jim) Howard; and a cherished "Nana" to Carter Putnam and Sofia Evans, and "Mimi" to Clara, Sam, Margot, and Stella Howard. She was a sister to Connie (Dan) Engh, Char Lefavor, Diane Lefavor, Joan (Joe) Shiflett, and Jim (Kylie) Lefavor, affectionately known as "Favorite Aunt Pat" to her nieces and nephews, and a loving friend to all who were fortunate to know her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Bev Lefavor, and her first husband, George Kent Evans.
A dedicated special education teacher at Oquirrh Hills Elementary, Pat poured her heart into helping her students grow, thrive, and believe in themselves. Beyond the classroom, her passions brought joy and connection to those around her. She was a gifted cook, delighting family and friends with meals made from the heart; a devoted lover of music who cherished concerts and symphony performances; a passionate gardener who nurtured life in every corner of her garden; and a spirited traveler, always seeking new adventures and beauty in the world. Through all of these pursuits, Pat's love for life and her deep care for others shone brightly.
Pat's legacy is one of love, laughter, and light. She leaves behind a family and community forever touched by her warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit. Her last breaths were taken as the sun set-a cherished ritual she and her husband Don often shared from the comfort of their home-bringing her life full circle in a moment of peace and beauty. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
