Stuart- Patricia "Patsy" Lord, 79, of Stuart, FL., passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones.
Patsy was born on July 5, 1945, in Chicago, IL. At the age of ten, she moved to Jensen Beach, FL. After her graduation from Dan McCarty High School, she attended cosmetology school in Orlando, FL. In 1971, she married Steve Lord. A devoted wife of 54 years and loving mother to her three children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Patsy's career spanned from a bank teller to preschool teacher to Real Estate salesperson to customer service representative at Martin Memorial Hospital. She retired at age 65 and spent her time with her loving family and going on vacations.
Patsy was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Patsy's life was marked by her love, compassion, strength, generosity, and unwavering faith in Jesus. She always had a song to sing and enjoyed sharing stories of her life with everyone. Patsy delighted in playing cards whenever she got the chance.
Patsy was preceded in death by her mom, Ruth O'Halloran, her Aunt Hazel and Uncle Harry, her brother, Harry O'Halloran, her brother-in-law, Bob Heritage, granddaughter, Shaylee Goins and nephews, Johnny and Craig Fogarty. She is survived by her husband, Steve; her sister, Rosemary; her children: Rich(Jan), Kerri(AJ), and Jennifer; her grandchildren: Aaron, Peyton, Hunter, Londyn, Delaney, Jensen, Preston, Amelia, Caden, and Luke; great-grandchildren: Jayden and Colten; her nephew, Patrick(Nicole) and great-niece, Maggie, her nephew, Harry O'Halloran, Jr., her nieces, Kimmie and Tricia O'Halloran.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity close to Patsy's heart, Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
