Patricia A. Mallory (Patty Ann) was born on May 10th, 1947, in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of Bessie Smith and Al Charles Smith. Patricia passed away on September 7, 2025, at home surrounded by family.

Patricia was a graduate of Lakeview High School, class of 1965. After high school, she worked at a furniture store before becoming employed at General Electric, from which she retired after 35 years. At General Electric, she was the secretary of the union and a member of the picnic committee.

Patricia grew up in Triedstone Baptist Church, but later joined Second Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and traveling the world with her soulmate, James, whom she married in 1983. She also took pride in being a member of A.P.R.I. and the Hilltoppers bowling league. Patty loved cooking, gardening, arts and crafts, dancing, and music. If you knew Patty, her favorite spot was any casino anywhere!! She was very passionate about sports, especially her Sunday football and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Her memories will be cherished by her loving husband, James Mallory, daughter Latreechia (Ike) Harris of Columbus, son Charles Smith of Texas, two children in love, Olin (Natalie) Mallory, and Stephanie (Jeff) Leggett of Youngstown, her baby sister Lazetta (Reggie) Holden of California; and a bonus daughter, Roberta Hobbs of Columbus. Patricia also leaves a legacy of 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. While in Columbus, she gained a few special people whom she loved dearly: Royal, Phil, Kaia, and Ms. Tracy.

She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, as well as her dear cousin, Irma Teague.

Patricia now joins her parents, son-in-love Jimmy, and brother Alvin, whom she loved dearly, in heaven.
