Patricia A. McClure, 76, of White Pigeon, Michigan, passed away suddenly Monday, March 28, 2022, at Baptist Hospital, Pensacola, Florida, while on vacation.
She was born July 12, 1945, in West Union, West Virginia, to Roy and Goldie McKitrick. On Sept. 8, 1985, in Bristol, she married Craig A. McClure.
Pat received her bachelor of arts degree from Marion College and her master's from Western Michigan University. She was a librarian for the Elkhart Public Library. She was a member of Bristol United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Craig; step-son Jeff (Sherrie) McClure of Goshen; grandchildren, Ashton and Abigail McClure; sister Shirley Bembry of Middlebourne, West Virginia; and sister-in-law Delverna McKitrick of Follansbee, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Goldie McKitrick; and siblings, June (Jack) Holt, Joy (Brooks) Ferrebee, and Donald and John M. McKitrick.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday April 22, at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday April 23, at Bristol United Methodist Church, 201 S. Division St., Bristol, IN 46507, where Pastor Gary Lewis will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.
