Patricia (Patty) Lynn McConville of Poland, Ohio (previously of West Mifflin, PA)
Patricia Lynn McConville, 70, of Poland, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. She was born January 18, 1954, in Braddock, PA, a daughter of the late Patrick J. McConville and Anne M. (Pollak) McConville.
Patty was employed by the Federal Government (FAA) for many years until her retirement. Following this, she worked as a care giver. She was a caring person to all who knew her, so this role was natural for her.
In recent years, Patty greatly enjoyed traveling with her husband Louis Jaksetich whom she married two years ago. She also had a very good friend, Dorothy Terry, whom she met in first grade. Patty had so much fun with Dorothy throughout her life traveling and going to casinos and all-night bingos.
Patty will be greatly missed by all her friends and family. She is survived by her husband Louis Jaksetich; one brother, Michael J. McConville (Helen) of Salem, Ohio; two sisters, Deborah A. Wirth (Ross) of North Huntingdon, PA, and Kimberly C. Miller (late Mark) of Reidsville, GA. She also had several nieces and nephews, Patrick J. McConville (Lisa), Christopher McConville (Michele), Amy Burtnett (Richard), Ryan Wirth (Christine), Darrel Honick (Heather), KC Gonzalez (Ariel), and Adam Honick (Elizabeth). In addition to them, she had nine great nieces and nephews.
Patty was a member of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church (Boardman). The family would like to thank Pastor Mark A. Bell for always taking the time out of his busy day to go visit Patty, and to pray with her when her family and friends could not be with her as her illness progressed. He was always willing to help with anything that the family needed since many of them lived out of state.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are being handled by WM NICHOLAS FUNERAL HOME, Niles, Ohio.
