Patricia McRae Savage Ward Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wilkerson Funeral Home - De Queen on Jan. 29, 2026.
Ms. Patricia Ward, age 83, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in Ashdown, Arkansas.
Ms. Ward was born on March 20, 1942, in Houston, Texas. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. She was called "Granny Pat" by almost everyone who knew her because she loved to spoil everyone she knew. She had a big heart and showed her love through acts of service, such as cooking, cleaning, and ironing, and care taking for numerous people. She loved sewing, doll making, swimming, and dancing. She might forget your name, but she would not forget how much she loved you, and when you eventually got a birthday card from her, you would find three paragraphs of praise written inside, telling you how perfect you are, that you are loved by Granny Pat and Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul McRae and Eleana Ruth Dunn; her twin brother, Pat Savage; and her son, Allen Ward.
She is survived by two daughters, Lorine and Dan Ayers of De Queen, Teresa Emerick of Nashville, Arkansas; one brother, Paul Savage; an aunt, Doris Lamar, both of Texas; granddaughter, Casey and Timothy Hardaway of Lockesburg, Arkansas, grandson, Alex and Raven Ayers of Genoa, AR; great-grandchildren, Heidi, Lance, Sylas, Milly, and other relatives.
Funeral service for Ms. Ward will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 30, 2026, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in De Queen with Bro. Larry Fry officiating.
