Patricia L. Minney
Age 69, of East Tawas, Michigan, passed away on November 5, 2025, in Auburn, Michigan. Patricia was born on May 8, 1956, in Dearborn, Michigan, to the late Don and Patricia Clark. She spent her early childhood years in Dearborn before she moved to Rockwood, Michigan, around the age of eight years old. She spent the rest of her childhood there and was a proud graduate of Airport High School. On June 25, 1982, she married the love of her life, Edward Minney. The two began their lives together in Monroe, Michigan, and they lived there for ten years before ultimately relocated to Tawas. When the couple arrived up north, she began working for the Holiday Inn as the head of housekeeping. After working at the Holiday Inn, she spent a short period of time at Dean Arbour before she began her longtime job as a corrections officer at the Iosco County Jail. Patricia spent 22 years working as a corrections officer and really enjoyed her position. She retired from work in 2021.
Patricia raised a family of two boys who meant the world to her. She was a proud mother to her boys and a proud wife to Ed. They shared many special memories together over the 43 amazing years of marriage they had. Some of Patricia's favorite hobbies consisted of hunting, fishing, and crafting. She was an avid hunter, and her favorite moments were spent out in the blind with her bow. She was a happy soul that would do anything she could to help others, and she will be missed dearly by many.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Edward Minney; two sons, Jim Feaganes and John Feaganes; her sister Donna; and her step children, Ed Minney, Kenny Minney, Russell Minney, and Ruth Minney. She is preceded in death by her parents Don and Patricia Clark; and her brother, Donald Clark.
Per Patricia's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family plans to have a celebration of her life at a later date.
