Barbara L. Kelling

Barbara Lee Kelling, age 76, of Whittemore, MI., passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 12, 1948, at the family farm in Whittemore to the late Harold and Marilyn (Luxton) Wice.
Barbara was a lifelong resident of Whittemore where she was a home maker throughout her life. She married Dean Trotter Sr in 1964 and had 3 children together she then got with Tom Wice and had 2 children with him then later in life she married Dennis Kelling in 1993. Around her home she enjoyed crafting, sewing, rock collecting, and watching butterflies. More than anything else though she loved being a mother and grandmother and spending time with her family.
Barbara is survived by her children, Phillip (Martha) Trotter, Barbara Trotter, Earl (Melissa) Trotter, Yvette (Tom) Kelling, and Thomas Trotter; brother, Mike Luxton; sisters, Tina, and Carol; 22 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, and husbands, Dean Sr and Dennis. The family will hold a celebration of life service to be announced at a later date.
