Patricia Mitchell Obituary
Patricia "Patty" A. Mitchell, 80, of Akron, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on August 2, 2023 after a long illness. She was born on March 14, 1943 to Mary and Clarence McMann. Patty loved the lord, and two of her greatest joys in life was going to church and helping people however she could. She spent her life volunteering with her church and the Salvation Army working soup kitchens and helping with youth programs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother; Bobby, sisters; Betty, Shirley, and Sandy, grandson; Johnny. She is survived by her children; Julie and John Barker, Sue (Rod) Schembechler, grandchildren; Jakob, Samantha (Greg), Alex Keener, sisters; Rosemary Steele and Linda Way, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday August 11, 2023 at 10am. A memorial service will follow at 11am at Hummel Funeral Homes at 500 E. Exchange St. in Akron.
