"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith " 2 Timothy 4:7 Patricia Lundy-Mitchell (Sunrise: February 23, 1967 – Sunset: August 12, 2025) Patricia Lundy-Mitchell, age 58, of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025. She was the rock of the family; a steady, unshakable presence whose strength, faith, and love held us together in every season of life. Patricia was born on February 23, 1967, in Bogalusa, LA. A devoted woman of God, she lived each day as an example of grace, compassion, and service. She was a giver in every sense of the word, always putting others before herself. Whether caring for relatives, lending a helping hand to neighbors, or offering a listening ear, she poured love into everyone she met. She was a caretaker not only by nature but by calling, opening her heart and home to those in need. Many who knew her will remember her selflessness, her wisdom, and her unwavering belief in the power of faith and family. Left to mourn and cherish her memory are her husband, Bobby Mitchell; children Clayton Lundy, Kenneth (Tiffini) Lundy, Patrick Lundy, Patricia (Kyle) Lundy-Clark, Amber Lundy, Dasha Crump, Troyniya Johnson, Bobbi Mitchell and Bobby Dillard; siblings Alanna Suggs-Bakrim, Deborah Ann (Bobby) Thompson, Anthony Wayne Lundy, Johnny Ray (Lazaundra) Clark, Wynette Lundy, and Monica Lundy; along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceding her in death are her mothers, Rose Lundy and Grace Berry; father Dewey Howard; sisters Linda Sue Aultman and Brenda Lundy; brother Stanley Keith Lundy and L H Ellison; and nephews Damion Lundy, Henry Lee III, and Johnny Clark. Her legacy is one of love, generosity, and devotion; a life well-lived and a heart well-shared. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the memories and lives she touched. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this time.
