Patricia Montemurro Obituary

Patricia Ann "Gram" Montemurro, age 81, of Rayland, Ohio, danced her way into eternity on November 12, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. True to form, she faced every challenge with grit, grace, and that unforgettable spark that made everyone feel like family.
Born on July 31, 1944, to John and Margaret Langsdorf, Patricia's life was one of love, laughter, and endless energy. In 1962, she married the love of her life, Patsy Montemurro, and together they built a life rooted in devotion, family, and fun. Their home was always open, their table always full, and their hearts even fuller as they raised their two daughters, Michelle and Veronica.
Patricia was never one to sit still-she lived boldly and worked passionately. From her days as a gemologist to running a successful antique business specializing in rare glass, she brought sparkle to everything she touched. And if that wasn't enough, she even climbed CB towers - proving there was truly nothing she couldn't do once she set her mind to it!
Her greatest joy, however, was her family. "Gram" cherished gardening, homemaking, and spoiling her grandchildren Eric and Angela. She was a constant source of care, comfort, and laughter for everyone lucky enough to know her. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her love reached far beyond her family tree.
Patricia was welcomed into heaven by her parents, her beloved husband Patsy, and her brothers James "Jimmy" and Johnny Langsdorf.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and light carried on by her daughters Michelle Jones-Pigott and Veronica Chamberlin; grandchildren Eric, Marvin, Angela, and Alicia; great-grandchildren Anna, EJ, and Aiden; honorary grandchild Laurel; and sisters Doris, Debbie, and Peggy - along with countless friends whose lives were made brighter by her warmth and wit.
Patricia lived her life with heart, humor, and hustle. While she's no longer here in body, her spirit will forever bloom in the gardens, stories, and hearts of those who loved her.
Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 18, from 3:00-7:00 p.m.
Interment will be at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery.
