Patricia L. Moquin of Malden passed away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2024. She is 82 years of age.
Born on Saturday, October 4, 1941 in Malden, Patricia is the loving daughter of the late Edward Moquin and Dorothy (Higgins) Moquin. Patricia is a warm, kind, loyal daughter, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.
Patricia spent her life dedicated to serving others, both in her professional career and personal life.
Patricia's career began at BostonGas company, where she faithfully worked for 30 years. Following her heart's calling, she embarked on a new journey, pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. This decision marked the beginning of her remarkable career as a hospice nurse, a role she cherished for over 20 years. Known for her empathy and unwavering support, Patricia touched countless lives, providing comfort and compassion to patients and their families during their most challenging moments.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Patricia had a profound love for animals and children. She was often offered her time and care to those in need, never hesitating to adopt the most disadvantaged animal from her local shelter. She was known for looking out for and wanting the best for others.
Patricia is the beloved and devoted mother of John Moquin and his wife Alisha. She is the cherished and doting grandmother of Leah Durgin.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Patricia’s Family on Wednesday, June 26th from 9:30am – 12:30pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM before leaving for interment in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
