Patricia Moscato

After a brief illness, Patricia Grace Moscato, 83, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025. She was surrounded by her family at Mt. Sinai/South Nassau Hospital in Oceanside, NY. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Nicholas, her son Matthew, daughter-in-law Elizabeth, and her two granddaughters, Anna and Katherine. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Charlotte and Joseph Lipski, and her sisters Lorraine and Elizabeth.
Pat was born in Queens, NY, and grew up in Ozone Park. She and Nick married in 1965, and moved to Rockville Centre, NY in 1973, where she remained for the rest of her life.
She treasured her role as a grandmother to Anna and Kate, finding joy in every family gathering around the table. Her presence was marked by warmth, laughter, and the thoughtful gifts she always brought to share.
Her Catholic faith was a guiding force throughout her life. A devoted parishioner of St. Agnes Church, she lived her values with quiet strength and consistency. Her faith shaped her choices, anchored her outlook, and became the moral compass she lovingly instilled within her family.
A funeral service will be held at 10:45am on Monday, September 29, 2025, at St. Agnes Church in Rockville Centre. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association.
