Patricia Ann Gelé Moser, age 81, of Covington, LA passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025. She was born on June 30, 1944 in Shreveport, LA to Gilbert and Lillian Jean (Seibert) Gelé.
Patricia survived by her beloved husband Earl George Moser, Jr.; her son Earl “Chip” G. Moser, III (Lauren); and grandchildren Kendall Ann Moser, Brody Phillip Moser and Madelyn Grace Moser. She is also survived by her brother George Gelé (Patricia), her sisters-in-law Patricia Scherer and Mary Farragut, as well as countless nieces and nephews.
Patricia is preceded in death by her brothers-in-law William Moser (Maureen), Earl “Pete” Farragut (Mary) and John Phillip Moser.
Patricia, affectionately known as “Pat”, “Ma” and “Woman” was born in Shreveport, LA and grew up in New Orleans. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1962. After graduation, Pat went on to work for Bellsouth for 40 years. After retiring from BellSouth she went on to “help” a dear family friend at Lebon Family Dentistry in Metairie for over 10 years before officially retiring and becoming a “Full Time Granny Pat” in Covington, La.
The family would like to thank St. Tammany Hospital Hospice, especially her two caring nurses Emily and Amy, who took incredible care of her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E 19th Ave, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 11:15 AM with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM.
Burial will follow the services in Pinecrest Memorial Garden under the direction and care of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Pat may be made to St. Tammany Hospice. Donations may be either mailed to St. Tammany Health Foundation, 1202 S. Tyler Street, Covington, LA 70433 or can be made at https://www.sthfoundation.org/donate.
