Patricia Rose Muro

Patricia “Pat” Gay Muro, 82, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025. Born on June 25, 1943, in Huntington Park, California, to Marion and Jack Roff, Pat lived a life marked by compassion, generosity, and steadfast devotion to those she loved.

Pat graduated from Whittier High School before attending Saint Vincent College of Nursing and later Loyola Marymount University, completing her studies in 1964. She dedicated many years of her career to nursing, working with Dr. Loft in his Camarillo office, where she was known for her warm heart, professionalism, and dedication to patient care.

Active within her community, Pat contributed to numerous philanthropic efforts and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She also had a deep love of travel and explored Europe, Mexico, Canada, and the United States throughout her life.

In 1993, Pat married the love of her life, Rudy Muro, on Catalina Island. Together they blended their families, filled with love and shared memories. Pat’s greatest joy was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with them-Including the many trips and cruises she and Rudy enjoyed over the years.

Pat is survived by her three children, Jackie Dullam, John Dullam (Tammy), Joe Dullam (CeCe); her stepchildren Rudy Muro Jr (Kristi), Helen Hilands (Neil), Lisa Staben (Roger); 13 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Broughton, and brother-in-law, Whitey Broughton.

Pat found peace and beauty in tending to her roses, orchids, and koi pond, and she treasured the years spent on Catalina Island surrounded by family and friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love-a legacy that lives on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
