Patricia Ann Murphy, age 74, of Florence, while surrounded by loved ones, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 2, 2025. Her life will be honored with visitation on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. A celebration of her life will immediately follow. She will be laid to rest at Murphy's Chapel Cemetery.

Patricia was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and cherished friend. To know her was to love her. She never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with kindness and open arms. Patricia's heart was one of generosity; she was always ready to help anyone in need. She deeply treasured her family and found her greatest joy in the laughter of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved listening to oldies and gospel music, and nothing made her happier than dancing and singing along with her grand babies. Her life was a reflection of her Baptist faith, her giving spirit, and her boundless love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Evans and Charlie Murphy; her siblings, Anita Murphy, Jimmy Murphy, Roger Murphy, David Murphy; and her grandson, Zachary Childers.

Patricia's legacy of love lives on through her children, Leigh Ann Urrutia (Alex), Anthony Childers (Christy), April Puentes (Mike), and Hope Luis; grandchildren, Ryan Childers (Courtney), Regan Childers, Trey Beahm, Chase Childers (Tara), Andrew Puentes Carter, Christopher Murphy (Liz), Annalia Murphy, and Portia Simpson; and her great-grandchildren, Azara and Alahni Nalls. She is also survived by lifelong friends, Patricia Hill Woodard, Tina Logan Olson, and Lonnie Baker, whose friendship she deeply cherished.

Her family will always remember her as the heart of their home-strong, compassionate, and filled with love. Though she is no longer here in person, her warmth, laughter, and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
