Patricia Lee Nicholson

Patricia Lee Callis-Nicholson of Pickerington, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025. Born on April 3, 1948, to the late Rodger and Mildred Callis, Patricia lived a life rich with music, adventure, and deep connections to the people and passions she cherished.

A devoted lover of the opera-any and all opera, as she often said-Patricia found immense joy in the beauty of classical music. Her love of travel took her across the country and around the world, where she embraced new experiences and formed lasting friendships along the way.

Patricia was also an avid bird watcher, frequently planning trips with the hope of spotting a rare species or enjoying the serenity of nature. Her appreciation for animals extended to the many cats she adored throughout her life. She was a proud Green Bay Packers fan, cheering them on with unwavering enthusiasm.

Deeply involved in the Daylily Society, Patricia dedicated many years to supporting and organizing shows, including overseeing the judges for events-an effort that reflected her commitment and leadership.

She shared 48 wonderful years of marriage with the love of her life and best friend, James Nicholson. Patricia is survived by her husband James; sister-in-law Ruth Nicholson; niece Kelly (Tony) Martin and their three children; cousin Kathy Stynowick; and many dear friends who will forever hold her memory close. Patricia will be deeply and lovingly missed.

A visitation in her honor will be held on November 24th at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, Pickerington, 550 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH, 43147 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
