Patricia "Patty" A. Ocenasek, Age 58, of Swartz Creek went home on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Visitation will resume at 10AM the following day until the time of the Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road in Swartz Creek. Inurnment will be held at St. Mary Cemetery at a later date.
Patty fell in love with her soul mate, Anthony P. Ocenasek. Together they shared 41 years in marriage. Patty would say, " I love him more today than I did when I married him". Patty found her calling when she decided to become a stay-at-home mother; she didn't want anyone else raising her children. When her sons went to school Patty made sure all work and errands were complete before they got off the bus when they returned home. Patty was past Vice President of the PTA and popcorn chair as well as home room mother for each son. Patty believed the most important job in the world was raising her children. She continued to serve her Lord by serving as captain at the Swartz Creek Food Pantry, volunteering at Saint Vincent De Paul and was a Regnum Christy member. As the devoted Roman Catholic parishioner, Patty also took great pride in her accomplishments through Prayer Shawl Ministries.
Patty's hobbies were fishing, riding quads and enjoying God's beautiful creations in nature. Above all her fondest memories were those spent with her family and church family.
She leaves behind a loving and caring husband, best friend Anthony P. Ocenasek; two sons, Tony (Melissa) Ocenasek and Tim (Jaclyn) Ocenasek; five grandsons, Seth, Carsen, Blake, Bryce and Luke. Patty is further survived by many other dear family members and friends too numerous to list.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Jim (Vivian) Brown; her in-laws, Nicholas (Mary) Ocenasek; sister and best friend, Janet Schneider; niece, Jennifer Brown; nephew, Nicholas Ocenasek and dear friends, Darlene.
Patty's last words " Make sure you are living a life that Jesus wants you to, because no one dies without being judged through his eyes".
