Patricia D. Olver, 85, of Waymart, passed away peacefully at home on Monday morning, November 17, 2025, with her loving daughter at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary J. Olver on February 27, 2009.
Born February 22, 1940 in Waymart, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Cecelia (Lubinski) Dieterich.
Pat was a graduate of Waymart High School. She was a bookkeeper nearly all her life, and enjoyed working for various local businesses and individuals in this capacity. Pat was well known for her attention to detail and organizational skills. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, and was an avid bowler. Pat will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Kelly A. Hiller and her husband John of Torrey; a granddaughter, Beth Branning and her husband Garritt of Starrucca; and a grandson, John Hiller also of Torrey; nieces, and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joan A. Warncke; and her brother, Rudy Dieterich.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Howell Family Funeral Home, Inc., Edward R. Howell, Funeral Director, 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:30 PM until the time of service in the funeral home.
Inurnment will be private in the Aldenville Cemetery at a later date.
