Patricia Paolercio, a cherished pillar of her family and community, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, at her home. Born on August 26, 1937, to Pasquale and Nancy (DeSisto) Parisi in Staten Island, NY, Patricia's life was one marked by devotion, grace, and a deep-seated love for her family and friends.
Patricia's journey through life was one of joy and dedication. She married her beloved husband, Frank Paolercio, on June 2, 1957, and they built a life together founded on love and mutual respect. Their union was blessed with two loving daughters, Carolyn Falcigno and Francine Wolfe, who, along with their husbands Harry and Jeff, brought immeasurable happiness to Patricia's life.
Patricia's Christian values were evident in the love and care she extended to everyone around her. Her grandchildren, Jennifer Willett (Matthew), Jacki Zakhar (Jason), and Harry Falcigno Jr. (Lisamarie), were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She was beloved and will be greatly missed by her great-grandchildren, Anthony, Aria, Joey, Ethan and CJ. Her siblings, the late Frank Parisi and his wife the late Marie, Nancy Dugan and her late husband Jimmy, the late Raymond Parisi and his wife Lorraine, and Arthur Parisi and his late wife Marilena, held a special place in her heart, and together they shared countless memories.
Patricia's professional life was as varied as it was successful. After graduating from Commercial Business High School, she embarked on a career that saw her thrive at Newsweek Magazine in New York City, where her sharp intellect and unwavering work ethic shone brightly. Her creative flair and eye for design led her to Bloomingdales Interior Design in White Plains, and later, her entrepreneurial spirit guided her to Michael Anthony Jewelers in New York City, where she further honed her skills and built lasting relationships.
Beyond her career, Patricia's interests were deeply entwined with her identity as a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Nothing was more important to her than her family, and she instilled in them the value of togetherness. Holiday traditions, especially, were sacred to Patricia, and she took great delight in ensuring that each celebration was memorable and filled with love.
Patricia's legacy is one of unwavering love, a testament to the life she led and the hearts she touched. Her presence was a gift to those who knew her, and her memory will be treasured forever. As we bid farewell to Patricia Paolercio, we celebrate a life beautifully lived, a journey completed with grace, and a soul that has undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the world.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:15 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, Rye, NY on November 13. 2025. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Patricia's memory to: Church of the Resurrection, 910 Boston Post Rd, Rye NY 10580.
