Patricia Irene (Beougher) Lane, age 83, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on March 4, 2026. She was born on May 17, 1942, in Celina, Ohio, to the late Robert and Dorothy (Dysert) Beougher.
Pat was married to the love of her life, Samuel Lane, with whom she shared 50 years of devotion and partnership. Together, they raised a family centered on love, laughter, and faith.
As a mother, Pat was loving, steady, and endlessly supportive-offering love, comfort, and encouragement whenever it was needed. As a grandmother, she found immense joy in celebrating every milestone, big or small, and she created memories her family will treasure forever.
She enjoyed the simple joys of life: playing Animal Crossing, shopping for treasures big and small, and-most of all-spending cherished time with her family. A long-time member of Celina First Church of God, Pat was affectionately known as "The Candy Lady", faithfully sharing treats, smiles, and encouragement with children and adults alike.
Pat graduated from Celina Senior High School, Class of 1960. She built a fulfilling career serving others-first in administrative work at Reynolds & Reynolds, and later as the Assistant Manager of the Celina East Elementary cafeteria, where her warmth and kindness touched the lives of countless students and staff. She retired from Celina East after 30 years of service in 2008.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Beverly (Jim) Grimm; her husband, Samuel Lane; her son, Scott A. Lane; and her granddaughter, Alison N. Wagoner.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Bob) Jones; her grandchildren Amanda (John) Guzman, Jessica "Jay" Rea, Robert "Nick" Wagoner, Scott A. Temple, and Joshua (Michelle) Post; her great-grandchildren Kyra Rose-Cannon, Celeste Guzman, Evan and Ryan Rea, Chloe, Chase, and Morgan Post; and her great-great-grandson, Denim Guzman-Banner. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Shirley (Tom) Pryer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Rev. Craig Flack officiating. The family will be receiving guests from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home. A graveside burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Celina First Church of God or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Her legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and boundless love. She never met a stranger, and her faith in God filled her life with joy-joy she shared abundantly with others. Fiercely independent, quick-witted, and a faithful servant of God, Pat leaves behind a beautiful example of a life well lived and hearts forever grateful for her presence.
Condolences may be shared with the Lane family on-line at LehmanDzendzelFH.com.
