Ms. Patricia Ann McGill Lanier, 72 of High Point, NC entered her Heavenly rest on the morning of Sunday, January 12th, 2025, peacefully in her home.  She was born on August 2, 1953, to the late Mary Louis Lassiter, and Woodrow Thomas. 

Patricia attended High Point Public School System, and was a graduate of High Point Central, class of 1971. Patricia went on to attend A&T State University where she completed two successful years before beginning her next phase of life, which was called family.
Patricia "Pat" was preceded in death by her late xx-husband, Mr. Richard C. Lanier Jr.; grandmother, Alice McGill, and special cousin, Earl Hoke.

Patricia "Pat" left a legacy of love for many to cherish, and celebrate, among those are:
her son, Richard C. Lanier III (Tamika), devoted daughters, Ahisa C. Lanier, and Linda N. Lanier; two sisters, Sandra McGill Smith of Tallahassee, FL., and Gail McGill Nowlin (Randy) of Kernersville, NC; brother, Calvandus Lassiter (Stacy); four grandchildren, Robert Lanier (Tyara), Ivana Lanier, Jaylyn Lanier, and Seniah Alston-Lanier; two nephews, Marlon McGill (Sherie) and Timothy Smith (Chanda): nieces, Vicki Bradley and Latasha Kirk.

 Pat was employed for over 25 years with the DMV (License Plate Agency) of High Point where she definitely left her mark in the community.
