Patricia Mary Patrick

Patricia Mary Harkess Patrick, 79, of Clemmons, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023, with her children by her side.
She was preceded by her parents, Mary and Ian Harkess, her beloved son, Murray Petersen and her husband, Terry Bowman.
Trish is survived by her three children, Michael, Kenneth (Zanzara), Jill Larson (Murray); their father, Ken Petersen and her two grandchildren, Graedon and Aurelia, all of Calgary, Alberta. Trish is also survived by her step daughter, Sheri Allen and husband, Bobby, who reside in Winston-Salem; sister, Janet MacKenzie of Comox, British Columbia and cousins in England, Scotland and Sweden. We can not forget to mention her loving companion, Lucy the dog.
Our family immigrated from Scotland to Medicine Hat Alberta when Trish was twelve years old. She graduated from Medicine Hat High School and went on to work in various accounting jobs. She has lived in many places in Canada and the United States and made life-long friendships wherever she went.
Trish will be remembered as a loving mother to her four children. She had a wonderful sense of humor, two green thumbs when it came to gardening, created beautiful floral arrangements and loved to decorate cakes and fancy desserts. Then there was Christmas decorating, her favorite thing to do. Not only did she deck the halls, the whole house was turned into a winter wonderland. One of the things Trish was most proud of was her recognition of her fifty years in Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Our family would like to thank Scott and Vickie Griffin as well as Lisa and Bradley Walls for all the love and compassion they gave Trish and the support they gave to our family at this difficult time.
There will be no service by request. Donations can be made in Patricia's memory to Renal Cancer Research.
