Patricia "Patti" Arlene Woodford, a beloved resident of Lowell, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on July 9, 1938, in Marietta, Ohio to Raymond and Hazel Sergent Fouss, Patti was a cherished member of her community and a devoted family matriarch.
A proud graduate of Lowell High School, Patti dedicated her life to being a homemaker, where she found joy in nurturing her family and home. She was an active member of St. Johns Evangelical Church in Lowell and participated enthusiastically in the card and craft club with friends. Patti had a passion for gardening, especially tending to her flower garden, and she found peace in birdwatching. Above all, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and community will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Patti is survived by her son, Dan Woodford (Shana), and the grandson she and Roger raised as their own, Mikey Woodford (Pam). She leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren, Jeremy, Taylor, Jared, Reis, and Jordan Woodford, and her great-grandchildren, Isabella, Megan, Eden, Victoria, Fallyn, Adalynn, and Keith.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger Young Woodford, whom she married on February 17, 1957, her brother James L. Fouss (Judy), and her sons, Mike and Mark Woodford.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at the LOWELL CHAPEL OF CAWLEY & PEOPLES FUNERAL HOME in Lowell, Ohio on Friday, November 14, 2025 with Pastor Travis Christman officiating, followed by graveside service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday before the service.
