Patricia Paull Obituary
EUNICE~ It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia "Pat" Savoy Paull on Sunday, October 29, 2023. She peacefully left this world at the Acadia St. Landry Nursing Home in Church Point at the age of 70. A Celebration of Life will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice to honor her life at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in the St. Thomas More Cemetery, with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Patricia, affectionately known as Pat to all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her, was born on March 16, 1953. She was the cherished daughter of Clifton James Romain, Sr. and Ella Mae Lavergne Romain. Music and dancing brought great joy to Patricia's life, and she had a deep fondness for collecting angels throughout her journey. Those who were fortunate enough to share in her radiant spirit will forever miss her presence. Patricia leaves behind two daughters, Nicole Savoy Fontenot and her husband, Brandan of Eunice, and Brandie Savoy Fruge and her husband, Jonas of Carencro. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Wilma Jean Bowers and her husband, Gerald "Fuzzy" of Buras, along with four cherished grandchildren: Sarah Mackenzie Darbonne, Sophie Paige Fontenot, Tyler Neil Fontenot, and Karey Blair Fontenot. Patricia also leaves behind a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Patricia is now reunited with her late husband, Francis Paull, her parents, Clifton James Romain Sr. and Ella Mae Lavergne Romain, her brother, Clifton James Romain Jr., her sister, Loretta Cormier, and granddaughter, Kyra Ann Fruge.
In honor of Patricia's life, a visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm, as well as on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 8:00 am until the time of the service. A Rosary led by Deacon Gary Gaudin will be prayed on Monday at 6:30 pm.
