Patricia A. Pence, 82, of Columbus, OH, passed away on July 17, 2025 at St. Ann's Hospital.
She was born on October 17, 1942 in Columbus, OH to the late William G. and Rachel L. (Mayhew) Gilliland. She was a graduate from Central High School and retired from Columbus City Schools in 2019 and was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist. Along with her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Myron "Gene" Pence, brother, Edward William Gilliland, grandson, Christopher Pence and son, Bruce Pence.
Patricia is survived by children Jerry Pence, Duane (Deborah) Pence and Pamela (Eddie) Priddy, grandchildren Anthony (Emily) Priddy, Steven Priddy, Joseph Pence, Evelyn Pence, sisters-in-law, Judy Muchmore and Shirley Pence, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 11:00am until the time of the service at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist, 6176 Sharon Woods Blvd., Columbus, OH 43229.
