Patty Poe was a beautiful soul who touched the hearts of everyone she met. She had a deep love for her flowers, cherished every holiday and shared her artistic talents with those around her. Patty's creativity, compassion, sense of humor, fun loving spirit and radiant smile brought joy wherever she went.
Patty is survived by her daughter Amy Poe and her devoted partner Glen Blaszkiewicz, who lovingly cared for her. Her 2 stepdaughters and stepson; Tracey Poe Beckford, Karen Blaszkiewicz Chen and Willie Blaszkiewicz. Her 9 grandchildren; Briana Shaffer, Jayda Shaffer, Joseph Shaffer (children of Amy), Zachary Beckford, Eric Beckford, Samantha Beckford (children of Tracey), Harper Chen, Eli Chen and Madalyn Chen (children of Karen). And her 7 great-grandbabies Rowan Marie Jones (daughter of Briana), Wyatt Beckford, Sadie Jean Beckford, Gracelyn Beckford (children of Eric), Jhaliyah Porter, Jaedyn Porter, and Jream Porter (children of Samantha). She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Edward Orner and Mary Jean Garton Orner.
She had the voice of an angel and now sings and speaks freely in Heaven, looking down upon her loved ones. Her laughter, wise words, and the look in her eyes spoke volumes, even when words could not. She taught through love, strength and grace, leaving behind countless memories that will forever warm our hearts.
Patty was loved deeply and will be remembered always. We were truly blessed to have her in our lives, and her spirit will continue to live on in each of us.
Services for Patty will be held on Saturday November 15th, 2025. For family and close friends only there will be a memorial service held at 12:00pm/Noon at Going Home Cremation & Funeral Care, 519 Mabe Drive, Woodbine, MD 21797. Immediately following the memorial a celebration of life will be held where everyone who loved her is encouraged to attend at 1:00pm at the Izaak Walton League, 6642 Woodville Rd, Mt Airy, MD 21771
