Patricia Ann Pope, of Waldron, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at Waldron Healthcare and Rehab.
She was born November 30, 1925, in Moral Township, Shelby County, Indiana, the daughter of John F. and Lucille (Gundrum) Mohr. On October 7, 1951, she married her husband of 70 years, Jack Pope, and he survives.
In addition to Jack, Pat is survived by daughter-in-law, Kay Pope of Waldron; grandchildren, Chris Pope and wife, Shannon, and Meghan Pope; great-grandchildren, Bradley Pope, Kayla Pope and Skyler Peetz; sister-in-law, Faye Iorio of Hebron; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Stephen Pope; brother, Bob Mohr; and sister-in-law, Lou Ann Franklin.
Pat graduated in 1944 from Waldron High School.
She was a member of the Waldron United Methodist Church.
Pat enjoyed traveling and shopping.
She was a very loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Van Pelt Cemetery in Shelby County.
