Patricia Louise Reecer

Patricia L. Reecer,79, lovingly known as Pat, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, In Port Charlotte, Florida, surrounded by love and comfort with her son Bob, Daughter Deb, and her beloved dogs, Lexie and Lola Bean, by her side.

Patricia was born on September 13, 1946, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She lived a life filled with love, strength, devotion to family, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. She was a woman of strong faith, holding a deep belief in Jesus that guided her throughout her life.

She is now reunited in Heaven with those who went before her, including her late husband, James Reecer; her mother, Bernadette Depaster, her aunt, Della Allan; and her grandmother, Marie Poe. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now reunited with all those she loved dancing in Heaven, and she surely made her first stop at the Rainbow Bridge to be reunited with her beloved pets who passed before her.

Patricia was the rock of her family, strong, steady, and always there when needed, keeping everyone grounded through life's ups and downs. That strength and love now carry's on through her son, Bob, as she passes the rock forward to the next generation.

Pat leaves behind cherished memories with her loving family and all who had the blessing of knowing her. Her warmth, resilience, and unwavering love will never be forgotten. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of her family forever.

A Celebration of Life honoring Patricia L. Reecer will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Souls Harbour Church of God, 451 West Helen Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Patricia Reecer to Souls Harbour Church of God.
