Patricia Reinbold Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Directors - Reese Chapel on Feb. 26, 2026.
Patricia Ann Reinbold, a cherished mother, grandmother, and source of love and strength for her family, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on November 21, 1946, in Saginaw, Michigan, Patricia was the daughter of the late Gordon and Shirley (Hildner) Conzelmann. Her early years were marked by a strong foundation in faith, having been baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth and educated at St. Lorenz Lutheran School before graduating from Frankenmuth High School.

On August 16, 1969, Pat married the love of her life, Melvin Martin Reinbold, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth, MI. Together, they built a life rich in love and service, welcoming over 80 foster children into their home over the years. Pat's husband, Melvin, preceded her in death in 2018, leaving behind a legacy of shared compassion and generosity.

As a homemaker, Pat dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving environment for her family and those in need. In her early years, she worked at Michigan Bell, but she found her true calling in nurturing others. She ran a daycare out of her home for over 15 years. She later worked as a paraprofessional at St. Michael's Lutheran School and then for Fairview Schools. Pat touched the lives of many children with her kindness and dedication.

Her hobbies were as diverse as her talents, ranging from baking and sewing to gardening and hosting gatherings where she would cook for everyone. Pat's greatest joy, however, was found in the time she spent with her family. She especially loved visits from her grandchildren whether they lived near or far. Playing cards and sharing meals were some of her favorite pastimes with her many friends.

Pat's unwavering faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was an active member of several churches during her lifetime, including Trinity Lutheran in Reese, Our Savior Lutheran in Zephyrhills, FL, St. Michael's Lutheran in Richville, MI, and was instrumental in helping to start Living Water Lutheran Church in Mio, MI.

Pat's legacy lives on through her loving children, Kamie (Dan) Pike, Kevin (Tricia) Reinbold, Kirk (Jennifer) Reinbold, Jacob Reinbold, David Reinbold, Kyle (Mindy) Reinbold, and Frank Reinbold, as well as her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Joan (Freddie II) Willbanks, brother-in-law, Myron Ortner, sister-in-law, Viola (Edward) Kern, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Ortner, brother-in-law, Harold Keinath, sister-in-law, Stella Keinath, and granddaughter, Mallory Rose Reinbold.

A memorial service to celebrate Pat's life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 9858 North Street, Reese, MI, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2026, with Rev. Daniel Burhop officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories from 1 p.m. until the time of service. A private graveside service will be held later in the year at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw, MI, where Pat will be laid to rest. Her spirit, love, and the countless lives she touched will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
