Patricia A. "Pat" Rogers, age 83, of Dubuque, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Hawkeye Care Center surrounded by her loving family. To celebrate Pat's life, family and friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m., on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street. Funeral services will be held following visitation at 6:00 p.m., on Friday at the funeral home, with Deacon Jim Luksetich officiating. Private family burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.
Pat was born on November 28, 1941, in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of Cornelius Patrick "Patty" and Annette (Krathaus) Kelleher.
Pat attended school in Buffalo before moving to Brunswick, Georgia to help her brother and his family. While she was there, she met a fine young Naval gentleman named Lynn Rogers who stole her heart. The couple married on April 18, 1959, in Nahunta, Georgia, and had a wonderful family together. Pat was an extremely devoted wife and mom. She was raised with a strong work ethic and began her career as a waitress at 6120 and Timmerman's Supper Club. She later worked at Caradco and as a teller at American Trust and Savings Bank and DuTrac Community Credit Union. Pat was working in the loan department at DuTrac until she finally retired in 2003. In her free time Pat had many interests. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right, reading a good book, especially James Patterson, and making beautiful ceramic pieces. She was an avid bowler and was well known for enjoying her Miller Lite on ice. Pat and Lynn loved to get out on the dance floor. They traveled to Branson, Missouri every year to see several shows. Pat's family was always her main priority and the aspect of her life that brought her the greatest joy. She loved spending time with everyone at Sunday dinners, and looked forward to playing Rummy with the grandkids. Pat was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
