Patricia Satrom, 84, of West Fargo, formerly of Galesburg, ND passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 at Essentia Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Patricia was born on August 29, 1940 to parents Clark and Elvera (Johnson) Baker in Rugby, ND. She grew up on their family farm near Perth, ND as the oldest of 4 girls. Patricia graduated from Rock Lake High School in 1958 and then moved to Fargo to attend Interstate Business College. Patricia met Arnold Satrom and the two were wed on March 24, 1962. They settled on the Anton Satrom farmstead outside of Galesburg, ND, where they raised their 5 children.
Patricia was an avid gardener, talented baker, lover of crafts, and a devoted mother/ grandmother. She enjoyed attending her children’s activities including basketball games, choir concerts, music contests, and educational ceremonies. As she became a grandmother, she loved attending as many of the activities of her grandchildren as able, keeping track of all their passions as they grew. Patricia took immense pride in her family and loved to share this with those around her.
She is survived by her children: Nora (Scott) Heideman, Nancy (Mike) Germain, Noreen Satrom, Lance Satrom and Eric (Laura) Satrom; grandchildren: Dylan and Jake (Nora), Mitch, Nick, and Katie (Nancy), Max (Lance), and Ben and Cullen (Eric); sisters: Lorna (Don) Halverson, Arliss (Terry) Henry and Karen (David) Hendrickson; many extended family and loved ones who will never forget the love Patricia brought to their lives.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband: Arnold Satrom; parents: Clark and Elvera Baker; granddaughter: Brianna Germain (Nancy), as well as other extended family
Patricia’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Sheyenne Crossings Assisted Living in West Fargo, ND for the care and love they provided Patricia this final year.
Remembrance Service: Will be 5–7 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 with a 6:30 PM Public Prayer Service at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville, ND and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.
Funeral Service: Will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 16, 2025 at the Elm River Lutheran Church in Galesburg, ND.
Burial: Will be after the funeral in the Elm River Cemetery in Galesburg, ND.
