Patricia "Patty" A. Schobert, 67, of Lansing, IA, died Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, WI. Graveside services will be held Friday, September 19th, at 11:00 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lansing, IA, with Pastor James "Buck" Buckhahn officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lansing. Friends may greet the family from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday at Thornburg - Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Lansing.

Patricia Ann Schobert was born October 12, 1957, in Ontario, CA, the daughter of Merril and Alvilda (Henderson) Landis. She was baptized and confirmed at New Hope Methodist Church in Red Mound, WI, and graduated from DeSoto High School in 1977, in DeSoto, WI. On July 7, 1979, she married James Schobert in DeSoto. Patty drove school bus for the DeSoto School district and worked at the Blumenthal Lansing Company.

When she was younger, she was a member of the 4H Red Mound Strivers and has been a long-time member of the Circle V Horse Club. Patty loved to go fishing, taking care of her horses big and little, her dogs, spending time with her sons and their families. She also enjoyed riding in the semi with Jim.

Survivors include her husband James Schobert of Lansing; her sons: Matthew (Kayla) Schobert and Jarrod (Katie) Schobert both of Lansing; four grandchildren: Payson, Haley, and Jaxden Schobert, and Alethiea Sprunger; two sisters: Sherri (Jerry) Torgerson of Victor, WI, and
Sandy McCollough of Redmond, OR; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister Judy Womack; an aunt Kathleen Lampman; and a niece Dawn Torgerson.

Casketbearers are Matthew Schobert, Mike Wasson, Dale Fish, Randy Gaunitz, Kenny Kumlin, and Paul Troendle.
