Patricia G. Sebring

Patricia G. (Gregg) Sebring, age 94, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026 at Mary Rutan Hospital.

Patricia 'Pat' was born on December 22, 1931, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the daughter of the late Donavon and Wanda (Fultz) Gregg.

Patricia graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1951. Pat then went to the Springfield Beauty Academy. Pat returned to Bellefontaine and worked as a dedicated hairstylist for many years.

Pat married James C. Sebring on April 25, 1954. They worked side by side for many years as the owners of Don's Hamburger, in Bellefontaine, which was started by her father Don Gregg, until their retirement in 1994. Together they enjoyed traveling abroad as well as across the country in their Airstream trailer to locations such as Alaska, Mexico and especially enjoyed a trip to China with friends. Pat enjoyed the many friends she made and served as customers. She spoke often about the parties and fellowship of owning a business in Bellefontaine. Pat also spoke of time on the family farm, caring for the animals and time spent with cousins in the Sidney, Ohio area. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine, Logan County Historical Society, and AmVets.

Pat is survived by her son Scott (Mary) Sebring, daughter, Rebecca Sebring, grandchildren Marci (Nate) Lehrer, of Louisville, Kentucky, Ryan Sebring of Bellefontaine, and Derek (Emma) LeVan also of Bellefontaine. Pat is also survived by her great-grandson, Aster whom she very much enjoyed time with.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband James in 2019.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 28 from 10 to 11am at Eichholtz & Daring Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine where Pastor Larry Novak will officiate a funeral at 11:00am Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service in Philadelphia Cemetery.
