Patricia Renay Singleton was born in Waxahachie, TX on January 30th, 1944 to Mildred and Joe Gallegos. She passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, November 19th, 2025. Patricia elected to be placed in hospice on Monday, November 3rd and spent her last two weeks surrounded by her family and friends.
Patricia grew up and spent a majority of her youth in Burleson, Texas. One of her favorite pastimes was going to dance halls with friends. She graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1962, where she was a very successful student and friend to all. After the birth of her second child, she relocated to Columbia, Tennessee to be closer to her mother Mildred. Patricia worked as a computer programmer most of her professional life and when she wasn't working, she made it a priority to be involved in her children's lives. Patricia moved back to Burleson in the summer of 1991 and she married Jack Singleton in 1996. After retiring, Pat and Jack enjoyed working in their yard and spending time with their grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mildred Gallegos. Her brothers Billy and Gary Gallegos, and her sisters Mary Allen and Maggie Thompson. She is survived by her husband Jack Singleton, her brother Bobby Lile and her two sons Dewayne and Brian. Dewayne York and wife Deborah York, and Dewayne's children Madison, Brandon, and Alex. Brian Lowe and wife Heather Lowe, and their children Riley and Grayson.
