Patricia Gail "Janice" Smith

Rick and I came to Soldier Bay a couple years ago, and from the very first time, Janice made us feel loved and welcome. When we moved away after about a year, she told us we couldn´t go because we belonged to them now. She was a woman of great faith, and such an inspiration to everyone. Thru all the battles she was facing, she held fast to God´s hand and stayed strong. We are better people for having known her and are forever changed because of her. Although we couldn´t make the trip for the service, our hearts and prayers have been with you all and will continue thru the coming days. Rest in peace, sweet Janice. Stay strong, Danny. Tina Davis

I am so sad to hear of Janice's passing. I did not know she was sick. I met her when I taught her son at Waccamaw. She was a very supportive kind parent to a sweet young man. My heart breaks for Danny, Timmy, Ricky and all of her precious family. Prayers for comfort and strength for all of you for the coming days.
