SMITH, Patricia Ann “Pat”, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on September 5, 2025, at the age of 78. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on July 15, 1947, the daughter of the late William Paul and Doloras (Schneider) Barrett.
She is survived by her loving husband Delmer “Del” Smith of 52 years. Loving mother of Steve (Shannon) Smith and Sharon (Rick Johnson) Smith. Beloved grandmother of Zeke, Knox, Beau, Allison (Jeff) Browning, Brooke Auel, Reese, and Trevor Johnson. Cherished sister of Kathy (Bill) Voss and Karen Metz. Darling sister-in-law of Jackie Barrett. Treasured mother-in-law of Brial Auel. She is also survived by many other family members and friends who will mourn her passing.
Pat is preceded in death by her dear brother Dennis Barrett, brother-in-law Mike Metz, step-daughter Angie Auel, and nephew Russell Barrett.
She loved her family very much and was always thrilled to see her grandchildren. She attended all of their sporting events, piano recitals, and other events that she possibly could. She was an employee of Avon Products.
Visitation will be held at B. J. Meyer Funeral home at 5864 Bridgetown Rd., on FRIDAY at 2:00 PM until the Celebration of Life Ceremony at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or The Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306
