Mrs. Patricia A. Snyder of Cuddebackville, NY, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at her home. She was 59.
She was born July 3, 1964 in Bronx, NY the daughter of the late Nicholas C. Roeckell and the late Patricia F. Roeckell.
She proudly served in the Untied States Navy. She graduated from the Naval Hospital Corp School in the Great Lakes, where she went for medical training. After the military she went on to work for the Mid Hudson Psychiatric Hospital in New Hampton, NY.
Patricia was a master crafter. When she was younger, she would make Barbie clothes and furniture for her younger sister. She would make such elaborate decorations; people would think that they were from a store. She would make homemade cookies every year for Christmas. She loved shopping. She would buy fancy paper napkins, just because they were pretty. She was silly and kind and loved taking care of others. She will be greatly missed, especially by her dogs, Blue and Prancer.
Surviving are: Her loving husband, James Snyder; her daughter, Elizabeth; sister, Mary Roeckell; brother, Nicholas Roeckell and her niece, Nicole; aunts, Terry Murray, Rosemary Smith; uncles, Walter Murray and Raymond Murray; her mother in law, Virginia Beck and also several cousins and longtime friend April.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771 on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 11:00am – 1:00pm.
A funeral service will be held on January 20, 2024 at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Palazzo officiating. Cremation was held at the MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA. Funeral arrangements are by the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis.
