Patricia Sorg Obituary
Patty was born in Mercer, Pennsylvania, and was a longtime resident of Fredonia, PA. She was the beloved daughter of the late Audley and Sarah McConnell Rodgers.She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Carl "Sonny" Sorg, as well as six sisters and four brothers.
Patty had a deep appreciation for life's simple joys. She was an avid Niagara Falls collector, loved browsing flea markets, and spent many hours enjoying westerns, especially her favorite, Roy Rogers. She cherished her beloved dog, Spotty. She is survived by her siblings, Jane Heini of New Wilmington and Eleanor Bartholomew of East Berlin, Pennsylvania. Patty leaves behind her children: Carl "Sonny" Sorg Jr. of Fredonia; Gary Sorg (wife Kelly) of Greenville; Chuck Sorg of Fredonia; Todd Sorg of Fredonia; and daughter Amy Wingard of Russell, Pennsylvania.
She was a grandmother to Carl Sorg, Dorian Mueller, Fahn Sorg, Brittany Sorg, Nicole Sorg, Nick Sorg, Alexa Kress, Sheena Amon, Paige Sorg, Wade Sorg, Lindsey Turner, and Kyle Wingard, as well as six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at John Flynn Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 12:00-1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Randy Emmorey officiating.
