Patricia Ann Thoenen, 86 years young, went home to be with her Lord Sunday evening September 22nd 2024 after a short unexpected battle with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). She quietly passed with her Husband of 69 years, John Thoenen and 2 sons John Jr. and Todd at her bedside.

Patricia was born in Akron Ohio January 19th 1938. She met her High School Sweetheart John Thoenen in 1953 while attending Hower Vocational School in Akron. They were married on June 14th 1955 and lived the majority of her 86 years in Brimfield Ohio. She was an avid gardener, crafter, and caretaker of shuttins and unlovely with Hope Homes, as well as running her own card ministry. 

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dorothy Miller of Akron, sister and brother-in-law Connie and Don Damron and numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her husband of 69 ¼ years John Thoenen, sons John Jr (Lori) and Todd (Dawn) of Hartville. She leaves behind her 6 grandchildren: Brandi, Joel, Em, Hannah, Mindy, and Courteney, and 7 great grandchildren; Logan, Skyler, Alexandria, Connor, Lincoln, Beckett, and Selah. Cousins Steve Stephens, Charles (Chucky) Durant, Bob Stephens and niece Kimberly Harrison.

She was a member of Water Church and set an example as a strong Christian to her family and everyone she came in contact with. There will be a celebration of her life Saturday September 28th at Water Church, 40 E. Wilbeth Rd. Akron, Ohio. Calling hours will be noon to 1:00 with the service and a meal to follow.
