Patricia Thomas Obituary

Patricia Ellen Thomas (née Lynch), 67, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026.

Patricia was born on November 22, 1958, in Burlingame, California. She later grew up in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where her family was among the early residents of the newly developing community. Patricia was always proud of being part of Lake Havasu's early history and carried that connection with her throughout her life.

Patricia devoted more than 20 years of her life to nursing, a profession that reflected her compassionate heart and tireless dedication to helping others. She concluded her career proudly serving our nation's veterans at the New Mexico VA Health Care System in Albuquerque, where she cared deeply for those who had served their country.

Patricia loved her Lord Jesus Christ and carried her faith throughout her life. She found joy in simple things-crafting, caring for her beloved cat, and sharing laughter with the people around her. Known for her intelligence, humor, generosity, and strong work ethic, Patricia was always willing to help anyone in need. She was also known for having a voice that carried and a joyful, belly laugh that could fill a room. Having grown up around members of the deaf community, including her lifelong best friend, she was often affectionately described as "loud," something that only added to the warmth and unmistakable presence she brought wherever she went. Patricia was equally known for the big, warm hugs she gave to those she loved.

She is survived by her daughters, Colleen Laramore (Jeremy Laramore) and Elisa Harvey (Samuel Harvey); her beloved grandchildren, Aubrey, Isabel, and Chloe Laramore; her brother, Richard Lynch; and many friends she considered family in Lake Havasu City and Albuquerque.
