Patricia Thompson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Pitman Funeral Homes & Cremation Services - Wentzville Chapel on Sep. 22, 2025.
Patricia ("Patti") Thompson (née: O' Kane) of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on September 21, 2025 at the age of 77. She was the beloved wife of the late Bruce Thompson; She is survived by her two children, Jim (Donna) Thompson of Wentzville, MO, Matt (Sarah) Thompson of San Antonio, TX; four siblings, Kathy (Keith) Votava, Mary (Sam) Salamone, Maureen (Bill) Prange, Meg (Mike) Zappa; grandchildren, Crista (Tyler) Lewis, Casey Thompson, Emma Thompson, and Ella Thompson; She is preceded in death by her father, Robert O' Kane, mother, Bertha O' Kane (née:Carbonara), daughter, Christine Marie Thompson in infancy.

Patti and the late Bruce Thompson were married on January 27, 1968 and from this union they were blessed with three children. Jim, Matt and Christine. Patti's passion for life was evident in everything she did. A true sports enthusiast, Patti loved anything and everything athletic, but baseball always held a special place in her heart. Her enthusiasm for sports was matched only by her boundless affection for critters, she cherished animals of all kinds.

Patti also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, like watching her favorite show, Jeopardy, and, most of all, spending time with her beloved family. She was immensely proud of her grandkids and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on from the sidelines.
To Patti, there were no strangers. She made everyone feel welcome, and you knew you were truly family when she gave you a special nickname. She in-turn had so many names herself to different people, Millie, Little Gram, Grandma, Aunt Pat and Patsy. Patti's loving spirit will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
