Patricia A. Tomaszewski

Patricia A. Tomaszewski (née St. Myers), age 94, of Calumet Park, passed from this life on March 6, 2026.

Patricia was born on May 3, 1931, in Wheeling, West Virginia. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph T. Tomaszewski. In her later years, she was blessed to share companionship and love with her devoted partner, Donald Polak.

Patricia is the cherished mother of the late Rebecca (John) Kawa and Richard J. (the late Pamela) Tomaszewski. She is the proud grandmother of Jenny (Devon), Tina, the late Rachel, Heather, and Laura. She is also the dear sister to eleven brothers and sisters and a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Patricia shared an especially close and cherished bond with her granddaughter, Jenny, who was not only family but also one of her closest companions. Jenny was always by Patricia's side, offering her love, support, and friendship, and their time together brought Patricia great comfort and joy. Their relationship was one filled with laughter, care, and a deep affection that meant so much to them both.

Patricia lived a life full of joy and energy. She had a passion for square dancing and especially loved clogging, hobbies that brought her many friendships and wonderful memories over the years. She was also a devoted supporter of her family's love of racing and rarely missed a race, always cheering them on with pride.

Visitation for Patricia will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 9:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip.
