Patricia "Pat" Scheich Torok, born February 23, 1936, was the oldest daughter of Joseph and Carmel (née Clyne) Scheich. Pat married Gene Torok on May 7,1955. Together they had a son, Keith (Bobbi Jo) and raised four nieces, Debbie (Terry) Wells, Cheri (Teddy) Ervin, Sue Labadie and Mary Lou Trenner, who together with Keith and Bobbi Jo gave them eight grandchildren Brittani and Ryan Torok, Amy (Jeff) Valenti, Eric (Tracy) Wells, Courtney Ervin, Daniel (Rose) Labadie, Jessica and Jimmy Trenner and two great-grandchildren, Natalie and Connor Wells.
Pat and Gene helped raise her sister when she and Pat's mother moved in with them, Gene's four nieces and several cousins for several months when their mother was ill. She was a loving aunt to her nephews, a fond relative to cousins and a fast friend to many people and neighbors, who were as close as relatives.
Pat worked with Gene for Robert Morgan dance studio, alone at Ferry Morse Seed company, J. L. Hudson's, Chrysler Missile, and Doncasters as a fashion consultant. She and Gene also were partners in a Tour and Travel Company for School Trips and co-owned rental properties in Saginaw with her sister and brother-in-law.
Always an avid reader, Pat belonged to five book clubs, continuing with Zoom when Covid kept them apart. She enjoyed sewing and knitting for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gene, parents, Joseph and Carmel, sister and brother-in-law, Marge and Jerry Greskowiak, and daughter, Sue Labadie.
Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Patricia, please visit our Tree Store.
