Patricia Torres Obituary
Patricia Gayle Shirey Torres, age 65, of Siler City passed away March 10, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born October 18, 1959 in Willard, Ohio; one of nine children, the daughter of the late George Woodrow Shirey and Wanda Charlyne Jamerson. Also preceding her in death are six of her eight brothers. Pat was a beacon of kindness and strength, whose faith in Jesus shone brightly through her love for her family and friends. Her nurturing nature and radiant smile left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her career in the food service industry was marked by dedication and excellence. She brought joy and efficiency to every role she embraced at Lowes Foods, Walmart Deli Department, and Golden Corral. Pat's passion for cooking and her ability to manage operations with grace and positivity made her an invaluable asset to each company she served. This passion eventually led her to pursue a successful venture in catering, where her culinary talents and warm demeanor continued to delight those around her. Affectionately known as "Mamma Pat," her fierce love for her children and grandchildren was a testament to her character. She cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was sharing wisdom or simply enjoying their company. Her adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors took her on countless trips to the beach, where she found peace and joy in the beauty of nature. Her bright smile and generous heart will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire. She leaves behind a tapestry of cherished memories and a lasting influence on all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Manuel "Chipper" Torres; James "Jimmy" Allen Lloyd Torres; Damian Ross Brewer (Tiffany); and Kimber Tinnin (Terrell); grandchildren, Sophia Torres, Anneliese Brewer, Ezekiel Brewer, Zari Brewer, Tariq Tinnin, and Kobi Tinnin; brothers, Richard "Dick" Shirey and James "Jim" Shirey; longtime friend and father of her children, Ross Brewer Jr.; and numerous other beloved family and friends. The family will announce a service to celebrater her life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to assist the family with medical and funeral expenses.
