Tracy Renee Fuqua Torres, 56, of Sylva, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 5, 2025, from heart complications.
Born on October 25, 1968, in Bartow, Florida, Tracy was the beloved daughter of the late Linda Braswell Fuqua and Bobby Fuqua Sr. She grew up with a deep sense of love for her family, a trait that would define her entire life.
Tracy was a devoted mother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her three cherished sons, Kyle (Kelsey), Austin (Grace), and Zac (Hazel), who were the joy of her life and her greatest pride. She is also survived by her brothers Bobby Jr. (Greg), Joseph, and Nick; her nieces Ciara (Josh) and Tara; along with several great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and a large extended family who loved her dearly. Tracy is preceded in death by her parents, Linda and Bobby Sr., her brother Keith, and her husband Marco, whom she now rejoins in eternal rest.
A true family person, Tracy treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. Her circle of friends was vast, and each was welcomed into her life with the same warmth and loyalty she gave to her family. She had an extraordinary gift for making others feel seen, valued, and deeply cared for.
Alongside her son Zack, Tracy proudly owned and operated two retail stores in North Carolina. Her strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to her customers were equaled only by the love she poured into her family and community.
Though Tracy’s passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, her unwavering devotion to family, and the countless ways she touched the lives around her.
